Important Travel Information

Travel Disclosures

We believe a well-planned vacation begins with clear, honest information. These disclosures explain our role as your travel advisor, the responsibilities of travel suppliers, and some of the important details travelers should understand before booking.

Start Planning Your Vacation

Our Commitment to You

Our Family Travel works to make vacation planning easier, more personal, and less overwhelming. We research travel options, provide recommendations, assist with reservations, and help you understand the information supplied by cruise lines, resorts, airlines, tour operators, hotels, insurance providers, and other travel companies.

Travel involves independent suppliers, changing conditions, and decisions that remain subject to each supplier’s rules. Please review these disclosures along with the terms and conditions that apply to your individual reservation.

01

Travel Planning

Our Role as Your Travel Advisor

Our Family Travel is an independent travel planning business that assists clients with researching, selecting, and arranging travel services. We serve as an advisor and booking intermediary between travelers and independent travel suppliers.

We do not own, operate, manage, or control the cruise ships, airlines, resorts, hotels, tour companies, transportation providers, attractions, insurance companies, or other suppliers used in connection with your vacation.

Recommendations are based on the information available to us, our professional experience, supplier materials, traveler preferences, and the circumstances known at the time the recommendation is made.

02

Independent Companies

Travel Supplier Responsibility

Travel services are provided by independent suppliers. Each supplier is responsible for delivering its own products and services and for complying with the laws, regulations, policies, and contractual obligations that apply to its business.

Supplier terms may govern deposits, final payments, cancellations, changes, refunds, credits, baggage, transportation, accommodations, excursions, conduct, check-in requirements, and other parts of a reservation.

By confirming a reservation, travelers agree to the applicable supplier’s current terms and conditions, even when those terms are provided separately or through an electronic link.

03

Quotes and Reservations

Prices, Promotions, and Availability

Travel prices and availability can change quickly. Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, a quote is an estimate based on the price and inventory available when the quote is prepared.

A quote does not guarantee a price, room, cabin, flight, package, promotion, or other travel component. Pricing is normally secured only after the supplier confirms the reservation and receives any required deposit or payment.

Advertised prices may be based on particular travel dates, departure cities, room or cabin categories, occupancy levels, residency requirements, loyalty memberships, or other eligibility conditions. Taxes, resort fees, gratuities, baggage charges, transfers, insurance, excursions, and other expenses may not be included unless specifically identified.

Supplier promotions may be modified, restricted, or withdrawn without notice. A later promotion does not necessarily apply to an existing reservation.

04

Financial Terms

Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Deposits, payment schedules, cancellation penalties, change fees, refund eligibility, and travel-credit rules are generally established by the applicable supplier. These conditions can vary considerably between reservations.

Many travel payments become partially or fully nonrefundable after certain dates. Some promotional fares, airline tickets, hotel rates, excursions, and special packages may be nonrefundable from the time they are purchased.

Refunds approved by a supplier are normally returned through the original form of payment and may require processing time. Our Family Travel does not control a supplier’s internal refund-processing schedule.

Airline refund rights can depend on the circumstances, the party that processed the payment, and whether the traveler accepts alternate transportation, a voucher, or another remedy. Supplier rules and applicable law will control each individual situation.

05

Unexpected Events

Schedule, Itinerary, and Service Changes

Airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, and other suppliers may change schedules, routes, aircraft, ships, ports, hotels, room assignments, excursions, amenities, entertainment, transportation, or other services.

Changes may result from weather, mechanical issues, labor disruptions, government action, public-health conditions, security concerns, natural disasters, supplier decisions, operational needs, or other circumstances.

While we will make reasonable efforts to assist affected clients, Our Family Travel cannot guarantee that an itinerary will operate exactly as originally planned or that a supplier will provide a particular remedy.

Travelers should monitor supplier emails, mobile applications, text messages, and reservation accounts before and during their trip for current schedule and operational information.

06

Protecting Your Investment

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended because many travel expenses are subject to cancellation penalties or may become nonrefundable.

Insurance plans vary in their covered reasons, exclusions, benefit limits, pre-existing-condition provisions, documentation requirements, purchase deadlines, and claim procedures. No plan covers every event or every loss.

Our Family Travel may provide general information, supplier materials, or access to insurance quotations. Coverage determinations and claim decisions are made solely by the insurance provider according to the purchased policy.

Travelers are responsible for reviewing the complete plan documents and contacting the insurance provider with questions about coverage. Declining travel insurance may leave the traveler responsible for cancellation penalties, interruption costs, medical expenses, evacuation expenses, and other losses.

Entry Requirements

Passports, Visas, and Travel Documents

Each traveler is responsible for obtaining and carrying the correct identification, passport, visa, consent form, vaccination documentation, entry authorization, or other document required for the trip.

Requirements may vary according to citizenship, residency, age, destination, transit country, method of transportation, criminal history, name changes, family circumstances, and other individual factors.

Passport-validity rules and visa or entry requirements can change. Travelers should confirm current requirements directly with the appropriate government authorities and travel suppliers well before departure.

Our Family Travel may provide general information or direct travelers to official resources, but we do not issue travel documents, determine admissibility, or guarantee that any government or transportation provider will permit a traveler to board or enter a destination.

Name Accuracy Matters

The name on every reservation should match the traveler’s required identification exactly. Corrections after booking may result in fees, fare increases, rebooking, or the loss of a reservation.

08

Personal Well-Being

Health, Safety, and Medical Information

Travelers are responsible for evaluating whether a destination, transportation arrangement, excursion, or activity is appropriate for their personal health, mobility, medical needs, and comfort level.

Health risks, vaccination recommendations, testing rules, medication restrictions, public-health requirements, security conditions, and government advisories may change before or during travel.

Travelers should consult qualified medical professionals and current government resources when making health-related decisions. Information provided by Our Family Travel is general travel-planning information and is not medical advice.

Travelers should also understand that medical facilities, emergency services, accessibility standards, sanitation practices, and safety conditions may differ from those available at home.

09

Special Assistance

Accessibility and Accommodation Requests

Please tell us as early as possible about mobility limitations, dietary requirements, service animals, medical equipment, accessible-room needs, or other assistance that may affect your travel arrangements.

We will communicate known requests to the appropriate suppliers and help identify available options. However, accessibility features and accommodation standards vary by supplier and destination.

A request is not guaranteed unless the responsible supplier confirms it. Travelers should independently verify that accommodations, transportation, ports, attractions, excursions, and other facilities can meet their specific needs.

Some activities may require walking, stairs, uneven surfaces, transfers, tender boats, physical exertion, or other conditions that are not suitable for every traveler.

10

Business Relationships

Commissions, Supplier Relationships, and Affiliate Links

Like many travel agencies, Our Family Travel may receive commissions, incentives, marketing support, training opportunities, familiarization travel, or other compensation from travel suppliers and business partners.

The amount or availability of compensation may vary between suppliers, destinations, travel products, and reservations. Our goal is to recommend options that reasonably fit the traveler’s stated preferences, needs, and budget.

Some links on this website, in newsletters, or on our social-media pages may be affiliate, referral, or tracking links. When applicable, Our Family Travel may receive a commission or other benefit if a visitor makes a purchase or completes an eligible transaction through one of those links.

Using an affiliate link generally does not increase the price paid by the traveler. A specific disclosure may also appear next to affiliate or sponsored content when appropriate.

11

Online Information

Website Content and External Links

We work to keep our website useful and accurate, but travel information changes frequently. Destination details, supplier policies, prices, schedules, government requirements, health information, and other content may become outdated after publication.

Website content is provided for general informational and travel-planning purposes. It should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, immigration, or government advice.

Our website may link to supplier, government, destination, insurance, and third-party websites. Those organizations control their own websites, security, accessibility, privacy practices, content, and services. A link does not guarantee or endorse every statement, product, or service offered by the linked website.

Travelers should confirm important information using official sources before relying on it or making a travel decision.

12
